PS3 YLOD & Games I'm Currently Playing
I've owned a PS3 60 GB since January 2007. It was one of the best purchases I ever made. A few weeks ago, I got the YLOD while playing Borderlands 2. In order to save myself some money I decided to fix it myself rather than sending it to Sony. If I had sent it to them I imagine I would have to wait at least a few weeks before it's fixed and shipped back to my house. I'm not that patient. To my surprise, I managed to find a lot of information on how to fix it. The best tutorial I found (the one I used to fix my PS3) is http://ps3doctor.com. The steps are easy to follow, and I already had the majority of the things needed to complete the fix.
I'm back. Now I'm playing Borderlands 2, Batman: Arkham City, Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, and Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception.
There are few games that I truly consider to be a masterpiece. Having been an avid gamer for many years, I can say that these rank extremely high on my list of all-time best games. I can only think of a few other games that have me wanting to play all night long after work. This might be the best time for video games.
